RiptideMoving and Delivery is a family owned and operated moving business in the San Diego area. Richard
Mullins, the business owner, has a great deal of experience and expertise in the business of moving. Richard started moving furniture in 1997 while working for a long distance moving company in SD named Sullivan United. Richard worked for many reputable moving companies while learning the tricks of the trade over the next 20+ years that followed. During that time, he learned many techniques in the business of moving furniture such as how to properly pack and protect furniture and more extreme furniture moving techniques such as hoisting couches into difficult buildings. Eventually Richard wanted to branch out and start his own local moving company. "I loved the industry so much that I knew one day I would run a moving business of my own". In 2015 Richard and his wife Mary launched Riptide Moving and Delivery. Together they are so pleased to be in the community providing services to other families and helping move not just furniture but family homes.

This family business truly cares about their customers specific needs as well as their precious cargo. Per customers request, they will completely drape and wrap furniture to ensure it is in the exact same condition from start to finish. Keeping your cargo damage free is our highest priority atRiptide Moving and Delivery. However, in the event that an accident does occur, we want you to know your coverage options. Included in our rates is protection against possible loss or damage and additional coverage is availble upon reqest. The following information outlines coverage available to protect your goods.
Basic Coverage
60 cents per pound per article ensures recovery at 60 cents multiplied by the weight of the item. This coverage is included in the hourly rate.
Actual Cash Value
Protection ensures recovery at the actual cash value (i.e. fair market value) of your lost or damaged item (s) up to the total value you declare. This coverage is available at an additional cost. Please speak with your representative for more information.
Full Value
Protection insures recovery at the full value (i.e replacement value) of your lost or damaged item (s) up to the total value you declare. There may be deductibles offered in combination with full value protection. Please speak with your representative for more information.
